Dear Chocolatier/Proprietor,                           

     The Dutchess County Fairgrounds is very pleased to announce the inclusion of  "The Decadent Chocolate Festival" in our annual Crafts at Rhinebeck Fall Festival.

Crafts at Rhinebeck, held the first weekend of October (10/1 and 2, 2011) is a highly regarded and well attended event. Our audience includes a loyal local following as well as tri-state attendees.

The show includes over 200 juried artists displaying jewelry, fine art, furniture, pottery, clothing, glassware, sculpture and more. There is a specialty food section that includes a wine tasting with NYS vineyards. We also have a myriad of activities for children including hay rides, a petting zoo, games and art activities. The show is truly a family event and the inclusion of chocolate experts can only add to the fun.

We will provide you with a 10"d x 15"w space which includes pipe & drape and electric for $250 for the weekend.  Exhibitor must provide own tables, chairs and signage.

Our new "Decadent Chocolate Festival" will have its own designated area and will be well promoted in the Northeast. Since this is a first in the Hudson Valley, we are planning an extended PR campaign as well as our advertising efforts in print, radio, magazine and internet.

Show hours are Saturday, Oct 1 from 10am to 5pm and Sunday Oct 2 from 10am to 5pm. The fairgrounds will be open for set-up on Friday, September 30.

We hope will consider participating in this event and have included an application that must be returned to the office by August 15, 2011.

Upon receipt of your application, a contract will be mailed to you. A copy of the contract must be signed and returned to the office with your full payment by September 15, 2011.
